Bridport is a lovely course with views of both hills and coastline.
The fairways are generous, but the greens are quick and tricky. I imagine that the rough will play a greater roll when the fairways dry out in the summer. The most memorable hole is almost certainly the par 3 6th, which is a short (very) downhill drop to the green.
Definitely a course I'd like to go back to.

Hit some of my worst shots here but also some of the best. Camping in Freshwater campsite next door with brother in law. He set up a round with his old boss and his friend who are members here. Great company which was valuable when you dont know where you are going. And it's easy to get confused but that's not a negative at all. This is one of the most stunning golf clubs if not the most I've ever played. The 6th hole, signature hole, is really worth green fees only. 120 yds par 3 from an elevated tee. All four of us hit the green. Never been in a Four ball on a hole like this and all four on the green. That tells you we are not the lowest handicappers but you don't need to be to enjoy this course. A course where holes can first appear simple but they just ain't. Challenging to say least but alot of rewards to be had if you got the minerals to take some risk. Will Def return before trip is over. Lovely course.

A tough golf course, generous wide fairways with spectacular views overlooking the sea. Favourite hole was number 6, 125 yards to green from a mountain with the sea as a background! Worth a round for the views alone.

Don't play golf, but my husband and I popped in the clubhouse for a lunchtime meal! First time we have eaten there and won't be the last! Lovely dining area with roses on the tables. The lady who served us was very pleasant and helpful. Good menu choice and very reasonable prices. I chose the special of the day, Sirloin beef slow roasted with lovely creamy mash and green vegetables. My husband had the ham egg and chips. We thoroughly enjoyed our meals. My husband had sticky toffee pudding and ice cream to follow, but I was too full to have one! Beautiful views all round is another bonus! Definitely recommend.

I'm in love about this unique place. First discovered in the winter and I'm so curious to find out how is the other season's.
